The city partnership more closely establishes the bond between the United States of America and Saxony-Anhalt, the priority being the dialog between the people and the cultures. A partnership is a vital partnership only when it can rely on broad support from the public and is maintained by them.

In order to achieve this, it is important to develop and strengthen contacts in all areas of society. The Dialog Center sees itself as the motor in this development process.

I am decidedly optimistic that a fruitful and excellent partnership will develop between Magdeburg and Nashville.
