On April 4th, 2009 in Magdeburg, Laura Vibrans and Christoph Franke will be introduced to the public at a small press conference. Both are 18 years old and will complete their Abitur this year in Magdeburg.

Christoph is the sixth German-American Dialog Center volunteer to complete his civil service abroad. As with previous students, he will fulfill his duties at the Martha O’Bryan Center in Nashville. Laura is the second young Magdeburger to spend a gap year in Nashville supported by the Dialog Center. She will volunteer her time taking care of underprivileged children at the Preston Taylor Ministries (PTM), the same organization as her predecessor, Lea Grupe.
